Whenever big changes come, we’re often confronted with a lot of discomfort to deal with and a lot of introspection and adaptation needed to find our way through it.

Some changes are unwelcome yet unavoidable. Even when we logically welcome the change or can see it brings certain benefits, the resistance to change can be surprisingly persistent.

If you’re someone with a strong connection to your inner wisdom, or intuition, it can be easier to tune into the prompts and encouragement along a new pathway or course of action. If you feel disconnected or have self-doubt it can be much more challenging.

There are many tools and methods for strengthening your connection to inner knowing as well as your resolve to stay true to yourself and your path. Just as there are many ways to avoid it, silence it and numb out. If you choose the latter, you can expect the messages and lessons to get louder and even more uncomfortable though. When change comes, as it inevitably does, it’s best to embrace it however you can.

Trust that you can and will adapt; that you’ll discover resources within and without as you need them, though perhaps not always as or when you want them. Be willing to reach out and ask for help, and above all, nurture yourself and be your own best friend through times of change. Breathe in confidence, comfort and courage and breathe out fear, anxiety and all the inner chatter that no longer serves you.

Be well and prosper! ;)
