No Such Thing as Separation
“Goodbyes are only for those who love with their eyes. Because for those who love with heart and soul there is no such thing as separation.” — Rumi
It seems an appropriate reminder now as so many of us are currently “separated” from those we love.
And for those residing in America, we seem a very separated and divided nation as we endure this election “process”.
But for empaths like myself, it’s impossible to escape or ignore how interconnected we are, as the collective “vibe” is physically and emotionally palpable. The answer always is: just love more. Not as “those who love with their eyes” but “with heart and soul”.
As Hada Bejar said, “The fragrance always stays in the hand that gives the rose.” By loving more, we heal ourselves, we realize our interconnection to all living things, we become part of the solution for those caught in pain and confusion.
Another quote that has helped me in these challenging times is from Khalil Gibran, “When you reach the heart of life, you’ll find beauty in all things, even in the eyes that are blind to beauty.”
There is a lot of healing ahead for all of us as we recover from 2020. Remember to just love more, as there is no separation.
