Rising Above Rejection

I’ve missed writing this blog…it’s been a long break. I’ve been working on an e-book that was to be called, “Rising Above Rejection” but then I decided instead it was more fitting to call it, “Fierce AF” as the story unfolded more.

I’m working on many things, but miss writing when my efforts take me in other directions, like marketing and social media (ugh!). The only social media I enjoy so far is TikTok (if you’re on there, let’s connect! I’m at veda_prajvalan) because it’s so casual and open and the algorithm puts me in front of like-minded souls. I’m very “late to the party” when it comes to Facebook and Instagram though I’m trying to put myself out there too in order to reach a broader audience.

Aside from writing, and finding an illustrator for my children’s book, I want to follow my calling to help people in transition that may be suffering in ways that I have come through. I want to ease their journey and fast-track their healing if possible. I am always working to raise awareness and consciousness and to heal remotely and in person. While I’ve helped people in the past with all sorts of issues from taking exams, losing weight, and quitting smoking, I am now focusing on delivering a program related to healing from rejection. It is such a core wound for many people with far-reaching detrimental effects on their confidence, boundaries, and relationships, even their potential income, when unprocessed and unhealed.

There are many ways they have experienced rejection, from being adopted to departing from their parent or partner’s expectations related to faith or sexuality, to unintentionally intimidating their colleagues and friends. And as a result of the rejection or even bullying, they now go through life playing small, dimming their light, acting out of fear of future rejection, afraid to set boundaries or prioritize themselves. It’s not an authentic way to live and lacks the freedom of expression that is their birthright. As more people in this past year and a half especially, are now experiencing transition, a shedding of the old, and a push into living more on purpose and out loud, I feel called to be part of the solution where possible.

To that end, I put together a 3-day Lunch and Learn Series I’ll be doing next week via Zoom to introduce some tools that are helpful in starting the journey to healing rejection. From there I guess the next steps to letting people know about me are masterclasses and workshops, though working with people privately and individually is the most effective. If you, or someone you know, would like more information, my website can be found at: www.vedaprajvalan.com

I am wishing everyone much love and light, stepping into the confidence and “bad-assery” of their authentic selves UNAPOLOGETICALLY! Shine on!
