It’s the darkest and most trying times that have given the biggest breakthroughs. Similar to a plane taking off, the greater the resistance being faced, the higher the lift. Transitions from the known and familiar, into change and the unknown can still be very uncomfortable, nevertheless. While navigating them, if one is resistant and dwells too much in the past they often experience anger or depression. And if the focus is too far ahead into the future, anxiety can become a problem. Either one, unaddressed, can manifest as health conditions. But consciously choosing your focus and internal dialogue, with regular practices and tools (such as affirmations and breathwork) to ground and center in the present moment, can maintain peace of mind, protect health and foster internal trust and resilience.
